The Holding Tack Tester is a specialized instrument designed and manufactured according to the 2015 Chinese Pharmacopoeia Adhesion Testing Method. It is suitable for evaluating the holding tack of plasters, patches, and medical adhesive products. During testing, a test plate with the specimen attached is hung vertically on the test rack, and a specified weight is suspended from the lower end. The displacement of the specimen after a certain time or the time required for complete detachment characterizes the adhesive's resistance to pull-off. The instrument uses single-chip microcomputer timing with an LCD display. It mainly consists of a timing mechanism, test plate, loading plate, weights, frame, and standard pressure roller. The standard pressure roller is 2000g±50g, the weight is 100±10g (excluding loading plate weight), the test plate is 125×125×1.5mm, the timing range is 0-100h, and there are 3 work stations. Overall dimensions are 600×240×400mm with a net weight of 20kg and AC 220V 50Hz power supply. It is a fundamental device for holding tack testing and quality control in medical patch and adhesive product manufacturing and inspection.
