The Annimet High-Precision Film Thickness Gauge adopts a contact measurement principle. A specimen of a certain size is cut, and the measuring head automatically descends onto the specimen to measure its thickness under a fixed pressure and a fixed contact area. It is widely used for precise thickness measurement of soft materials such as films, battery separators, and capacitor films, as well as hard materials such as metal foils, aluminum foils, and copper foils. The contact principle also effectively measures the thickness at each point on solar silicon wafers. By adjusting the measuring head, it can meet the specified pressure and area for paper, completing thickness testing of various paper and paperboard materials. The measuring range is 0-2 mm with other ranges customizable, the resolution is 0.1 μm, and the measuring speed is 10 times/min and adjustable. Measuring pressure is 17.5±1 kPa (film) or 100±1 kPa (paper), with contact areas of 50 mm² (film) or 200 mm² (paper); either film or paper mode can be selected. With microcomputer control, a large LCD display, a high-precision sensor, and automatic head lifting, it avoids system errors caused by human factors.
