Product Introduction
The AT-TB-2100 series flatbed coating tester is a high-precision manual/automatic film casting device designed for research institutes, university labs, corporate R&D centers, and quality inspection departments. It is suitable for coatings, inks, adhesives, aqueous slurries, PU glues, polymer materials, and more, applied to various flat substrates such as paper, film, nonwovens, wig mesh, glass, and metal foils. It provides quantitative, uniform, repeatable coating samples, effectively replacing manual drawdown and eliminating human error. It is an ideal test apparatus for formulation R&D, process tuning, incoming material inspection, and quality comparison. The machine features intelligent touchscreen control with storable parameters and precision guide-rail lead-screw drive for smooth, quiet operation.
Key Features
High-Precision Uniform Coating: Precision guide-rail and lead-screw drive with adjustable speed of 1-2000 mm/min, delivering uniform, repeatable coatings that replace manual drawdown with traceable data.
Multi-Coating Mode Compatibility: Supports wire bar, four-sided doctor blade, adjustable blade, and slot die coating methods (optional), covering ultra-thin to conventional thick film applications for wig mesh, paints, inks, adhesives, etc.
Optional Vacuum Table: Secures thin and flexible substrates, preventing wrinkling, stretching, or skewing during coating.
Optional Heated Base Plate: RT-200°C precision temperature control, enabling integrated coating, preheating, and low-temperature curing processes.
Touchscreen Intelligent Control: Touchscreen operation with storable recipes for one-touch recall; simple to use, easy to change materials and clean.
Robust Corrosion-Resistant Body: All 304 stainless steel housing; die steel platform quenched, mirror-polished, and chemically plated for ±2.5 μm flatness (within 300 mm).

Typical Applications
Wig industry (lace mesh skin-color coating, ultra-thin invisible coating) · Coatings & inks (water-based paints, printing inks, conductive inks) · Adhesives (pressure-sensitive, water-based, laminating adhesives) · Papermaking (specialty paper, surface sizing, functional coated paper) · Advanced electronic materials (PET films, optical films, Li-ion battery substrates, nano coatings) · Textiles & nonwovens (water-repellent coating, functional finishing) · Medical & cosmetics (gels, medical dressings, facial masks) · Research & education (teaching labs, new material R&D, third-party testing)
FAQ
1. Uneven thickness or streaks
Debris or deformation on doctor blade, air bubbles/high viscosity in coating, or unclean table. Clean/replace blade; stir, defoam, and filter coating; clean table and flatten substrate.
2. Irregular edges, overflow
Blade not level, substrate not firmly fixed, or excessive coating amount. Level the blade; fix substrate with clamp/vacuum; control appropriate coating volume.
3. Jerky motion, shaking, abnormal noise
Dust/lack of oil on guide rails and lead screw, loose drive screws, or too sudden start/stop. Clean and lubricate rails; tighten fasteners; smooth acceleration.
4. Pinholes, craters, pits in film
Air bubbles/impurities in coating, oil/dust on substrate, or high humidity. Filter and degas coating; pre-clean substrate; keep lab dry and dust-free.
5. Heated model slow to heat, inaccurate temperature
Scale/build-up on heating plate, temperature controller uncalibrated, or air draft from vents. Clean plate after cooling; recalibrate controller; move away from air vents.
6. Poor repeatability, inconsistent thickness between runs
Inconsistent blade gap, speed, or coating amount each time; platform precision drift. Fix process parameters and store recipe; standardize procedure; periodically verify platform and blade accuracy.
7. Weak vacuum, substrate not held
Clogged vacuum holes, line leaks, or insufficient pump vacuum. Clear adsorption holes; check line seals; adjust pump pressure.
