Product Introduction
The Paper Tube compression tester operates on a vertical compression loading principle. The paper tube or strip-shaped specimen under test is placed centrally on the lower platen. A precision drive system moves the platen downward at a constant set speed, applying an axial compressive load. A high-precision load cell captures real-time force signals, and the LCD screen displays the force variation curve in real time, automatically identifying and recording the maximum force value as the compression strength test result. The instrument supports multiple force unit switching, features a single-chip microcomputer control system for automatic data storage and statistical processing, and has a built-in thermal printer for immediate test report output.

FAQ
1. What types of products can the instrument test?
It can test the axial compressive strength of various paper tubes, paper cores, edge protectors, paper sticks, and other tubular and strip-shaped paper products, provided the specimen dimensions fit within the 200×200×700 mm measurement space.
2. How is the test speed set? What is the standard speed?
The standard test speed is 55±5 mm/min, in compliance with relevant national standards. Users can also flexibly set the speed between 0-120 mm/min based on specimen type and testing requirements.
3. How are test results read and recorded?
The instrument features an LCD screen displaying real-time force variation curves and maximum force values. After testing, a test report with statistical results can be printed directly via the built-in thermal printer.
4. How does the over-range protection function work?
When the applied force approaches or exceeds the instrument's measuring range (5000 N), the system automatically triggers a protection mechanism, stops loading, and issues an alarm to prevent damage to the sensor and mechanical components, ensuring equipment and operator safety.

5. What force units are supported for switching?
Three common force units are supported: N (Newton), Lbf (pound-force), and kgf (kilogram-force), meeting the reading needs of different standards and customers.
6. Does the instrument require regular calibration and maintenance?
Periodic force calibration using standard weights is recommended to ensure measurement accuracy remains within ±1%. Keep the equipment clean and periodically check platen parallelism and lubrication of moving parts. We provide calibration guidance and after-sales support.

Paper tubes, widely used as winding cores and structural support members in industries such as textiles, papermaking, films, and adhesive tapes, must have compressive strength that directly relates to their structural integrity and safety during stacking, storage, transportation, and use. Insufficient compressive strength can cause paper tubes to collapse and deform under stacking pressure, resulting in damage to wound materials or equipment failure. The paper tube compression tester evaluates the structural strength of products by simulating the axial stress conditions paper tubes experience under stacking pressure and measuring their maximum load-bearing capacity under standard conditions. The force-displacement curve recorded during testing reflects the complete process of elastic deformation, yielding, and failure of the paper tube, providing data support for structural design, wall thickness optimization, and raw material selection. This tester is widely used in paper tube manufacturing enterprises, paper product packaging companies, quality inspection agencies, and research institutions, serving as an indispensable professional testing device in paper tube product quality control systems.
