    Heat Seal Tester

The Heat Seal Tester is a specialized instrument that uses the hot-press sealing method to determine the heat seal temperature, time, and pressure parameters of plastic film substrates, flexible packaging laminates, coated paper, and other heat-sealable composite films. It provides precise heat seal test indicators for users. The heat seal temperature range is ambient to 300°C with ±1°C accuracy. Heat seal pressure is 0-0.7 MPa, adjustable with pointer display (digital display optional). Heat seal time is freely settable from 0.01 to 9999.99 seconds. The heat seal surface is 300 mm × 10 mm. Product Introduction
The heat seal tester operates on the hot-press sealing principle. The upper and lower heat seal jaws seal the specimen under set temperature, pressure, and time conditions. A dual-cylinder structure with an internal pressure balance mechanism ensures uniform pressure on the sealing surface. The digital P.I.D. temperature control system precisely regulates the heat seal jaw temperature. Selected heat seal jaw materials and custom heating tubes ensure uniform temperature across the sealing surface. The control system features a full digital display with a high degree of automation. Users can set heat seal temperature, pressure, and time via the operation panel; the equipment then automatically completes the sealing process. Automatic and manual working modes meet different testing needs, and a foot switch facilitates operation. The instrument is suitable for heat seal performance evaluation of plastic film substrates, flexible packaging laminates, coated paper, and other heat-sealable composite films, providing standardized testing means for packaging material R&D and quality inspection.

Heat seal performance is an important processing suitability indicator for flexible packaging materials and composite films, directly affecting bag seal strength, seal integrity, and packaging efficiency. Heat seal testing simulates the actual heat sealing process by sealing two or more layers of material under set temperature, pressure, and time conditions, then evaluating the heat seal strength. Heat seal temperature, pressure, and time are the three key parameters determining heat seal quality: too low a temperature leads to weak sealing, while too high a temperature may cause material shrinkage or degradation. Insufficient pressure produces bubbles or incomplete seals, while excessive pressure may squeeze out too much molten resin. Too short a time results in insufficient sealing, while too long a time may affect production efficiency. Standards such as QB/T 2358, ASTM F2029, and YBB 00122003 specify heat seal test methods. heat seal testers are widely used in food packaging, pharmaceutical packaging, and daily chemical packaging industries, providing reliable data for material selection, process optimization, and quality control.
