Product Introduction
The electric digester (cooker) is designed based on the operating principle of industrial rotary spherical digesters. The vessel rotates to thoroughly mix the raw material and pulping chemicals, making it suitable for sulfonation, acid, or alkaline cooking of raw materials in paper laboratories. By applying different process conditions, desired plant pulps can be obtained, providing a basis for developing production cooking processes. It can also be used for experiments with other liquid raw materials at working pressures not exceeding 8 kg/cm², such as oxygen bleaching, and can supply steam to other laboratory equipment. The vessel is constructed from 304 or 316L stainless steel and is equipped with a pressure gauge and safety valve for safe operation. The electrical control system uses brushless conductive technology to avoid common faults.

FAQ
1. Power on but no heating / temperature not rising
Heating element burnt out, temperature controller/thermal fuse open, or power cord/plug poor contact. Check power supply and plug; measure heating element resistance; replace damaged controller/heating element.
2. Slow heating, uneven temperature, cannot reach 100°C
Scale on heating element, insufficient water level, or temperature probe scaled or displaced. Clean inner vessel and heating plate scale; refill to standard level; clean and secure probe.
3. Water shortage / dry-boil alarm, frequent tripping
Water level too low, float/level sensor stuck or scaled, or dry-boil protection triggered. Add water to marked level; clean level sensor; check and reset thermal switch.
4. Weak steam, low pressure
Lid gasket aged, vent/safety valve clogged, or inner vessel heavy scale. Replace silicone gasket; clear vent valve; descale thoroughly.
5. Steam leak (hissing around lid, abnormal noise)
Gasket aged or deformed, lid not properly closed, or latch loose. Level the lid and tighten latches evenly; replace gasket.
6. Inaccurate temperature control, fluctuating
Temperature probe scaled and loose, or controller drift. Clean and resecure probe; calibrate controller or replace probe.
7. Severe scaling on inner vessel / heating plate
Prolonged use of hard water, lack of regular cleaning. Periodically clean with citric acid / descaler; keep inner vessel clean.
8. Display blank, buttons unresponsive
Power board / fuse blown, buttons damp or damaged. Check power fuse; air-dry after power off; replace buttons or main board.
9. Uneven moisture in samples after cooking, localized overdrying
Uneven steam distribution, samples packed too densely, or unstable water level. Arrange samples in layers with gaps; maintain stable water level; descale to improve steam output.
10. Odor, yellowing, rust
Scale plus residual stock, prolonged moisture, or aged seals accumulating dirt. Thoroughly clean and descale; dry before storage; replace aged seals.
